World Suicide Prevention Day was celebrated on September 10, 2025, in the Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital Hall, Udupi. The event was organised by Tanimitha Kamal A Baliga Charitable Trust, Mumbai and Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital, Udupi. Dr Varalakshmi C S (Coordinator, MPH programme, Department of Global Public Health Policy and Governance [GPHPG], Prasanna School of Public Health [PSPH], 188体育平台 Academy of Higher Education [MAHE], 188体育平台) was the Chief Guest for the event. She inaugurated the event. She delivered a session regarding “Adolescent Mental Health”. She released a short film titled ‘That Moment’ during the occasion.
