Department of Applied Statistics and Data Science (DASDS), Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), 188体育平台 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), 188体育平台 in Collaboration With Pfizer Healthcare India Pvt Ltd and The Statistics and Operations 188体育平台 Chapter of CARAMS (Centre for Advanced 188体育平台 in Applied Mathematics and Statistics), MAHE, 188体育平台 organised a “Workshop On Data Analytics In Health Sciences” (WDAHS-2025) based on the “Theme: Applications of Machine Learning/AI“ from January 06 to 10, 2025 (09:00 to 17:00 hours IST).

The WDAHS-2025 concentrated on the applications of Machine learning-based Data Analytics methods in Health Sciences using Python. It lasted for 5 days and covered beginner to advanced-level topics in Machine learning using Python and AI. It covered Machine learning-based Regression and Classification methods, Natural Language Processing/Text analytics, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and its applications, with projects in the Health Science domain problems. In addition, various real-world scenarios were reviewed throughout the course.

The workshop covered a hands-on approach to the Python framework. The course was delivered through lectures, case discussions and exercises in class. The workshop was facilitated by experienced data analytics professionals from both Industry and Academia.

Target Audience: The workshop mainly focused on the students, researchers, and faculty from the health science domain. Students from other fields of science, social science, engineering, and management also benefited.
