The Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology in association with ARMCODS (188体育平台 Relations, MCODS Mangalore) conducted a CPD programme titled “Patho-logue” on clinico-pathological correlation of common oral lesions. The programme highlighted the importance of the “dialogue” between the Patient, Clinician, Radiologist and Pathologist in arriving at an appropriate and accurate diagnosis.
Dr. Srikant N, Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, MCODS Mangalore welcomed the delegates numbering 133 from various dental colleges in and around Mangalore. The Dean, Dr. Dilip G Naik was the chief guest for the programme.
The resource persons, Dr. Radhika Bavle (Professor and Head of Department of Oral Pathology and Microbiology, Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Bangalore) and Dr. Udhay Bhanu (alumnus of Dept. of Oral Pathology, MCODS Mangalore and a dental practitioner at Kerala) were the resource persons. Over the span of their presentations, they discussed clinical, radiological and pathological manifestations of common oral lesions and enlightened the audience on arriving at the diagnosis.
The interactive sessions and discussions were greatly appreciated by students who had a surprise internet-related quiz as an enjoyable finale.
