The Distinguished Lecture Series X, Session I was organized on 13th September 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in Sharada Hall. The session was conducted on the topic “Biorisk Management System” and was delivered by Dr. Sudheesh N, Assistant Professor, 188体育平台 Institute of Virology, 188体育平台 Academy of Higher Education, 188体育平台.

The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Saritha Kamath U, who warmly greeted the resource person and the gathering. Dr. Sudheesh, in his lecture, highlighted the significance of implementing effective bio risk management practices in healthcare and laboratory environments. He explained the essential components of biosafety and biosecurity, risk assessment, and the role of laboratory professionals in maintaining high safety standards.

The session was attended by faculties and students of Medical Laboratory Technology, who actively participated and benefitted from the insightful discussion. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Reshma Dsouza.
